I have some time in between appts Friday and I’m looking for a really great lunch, preferably sitting at the bar. I’m thinking along the lines of Gramercy Tavern or Marea, but would like other suggestions. Bonus if they have a pre-fix. Anywhere in Manhattan
Hi all! I am moving to a new apartment next month and after dealing with a neighbor noise at the 3rd floor, my landlord will be moving me to the top floor in a different building. Anyone who had experience living on the top floor? Would love to know your thoughts. Cheers!
Hosting a party. Hoping to be somewhat economical. I have seen deals at grocery stores (not in NYC obviously) and liquor stores where you get like 10% off if you buy six bottles and 15% if you buy twelve (just as an example). Wondering if I can find any similar deals here. Thanks!
I have a role that I’m interviewing for this afternoon that I am not necessarily crazy about but would provide job security (I am currently unemployed). I found the role through a recruiter and it wouldn’t come into effect until mid January.
If I were to get this role, I would likely take it and then continue exploring other options.
I am assuming if I go this route, I don’t want to let other recruiters know that I’ve taken this opportunity. Finally, if I found a better fit I would resign from this role. I’ve never actually “played” the job market to find the right fit, so I am wondering if anyone has any feedback as to whether this is a good idea. I am a bit new to exploring and landing the right opportunity, and intuitively this strikes me as the right move, especially within the context of my unemployment.
