Have fun and respect each other! This is not the thread for personal attacks and insults. We're all here to chat about the houseguests and game
Please keep the conversation focused on Big Brother and BB21. Limited general discussion is allowed but should not be the majority of you input!
Meta commentary about fan groups, other platforms and other generalizing comments are best saved for other outlets and may be removed (ex: 'Look what those twitter morons said now', 'Fans of zingbot just shouldn't post')
This is not a thread for soapboxing or granstanding to r/bigbrother as a whole.
Whether you love her, hate her, or think she’s a terrible player, there is one thing you cannot deny: Sindy with an S is a Big Brother Canada LEGEND. She gave us countless iconic moments through out her time on BBCAN3 and BBCAN5, many of which are regarded as some of the greatest moments in BB history. In this thread I will talk about some of her best moments in order to give her the praise and recognition she deserves for her impact on her seasons and Big Brother in general.
Winning the first PoV - After being nominated by the house in the first ever house-nomination, Sindy manages to defy all odds and the will of the house by pulling out the first PoV win of the season. Standing before the house in her little action suit, she saves herself and nominates Pilar in her place, mistakenly calling her “Paela” in the process. In doing so, she became the first houseguest of the season to nominate another for eviction.
Winning the battleback - After being evicted, Sindy and the 4 other prejury evictees compete in an endurance battleback to return to the game and earn a spot on the jury. Sindy prevails and earns the right to reenter the game. As Arisa announces her victory, she cries as she continues to clutch her rope. You can see the raw emotion in her. You can see how proud she is for defying the odds that have been stacked against her since the beginning of the game. This is such a heartwarming moment.
Jordan’s blindside - After returning to the game, Sindy finds herself sitting pretty for a week with immunity from the secret vault challenge. In a shocking twist of events, Sindy begins to orchestrate the blindside of her potential showmance Jordan. The vote ends up being 5-4, Sindy essentially being the swing, and she votes out her potential ally, successfully pulling off the best blindside BBCAN had seen at the time. Sindy gets reevicted the following week as the second jury member, thus creating the Sindy trajectory.
Sindy’s growth - In BBCAN3, Sindy was always the target due to her personality and inability to fly under the radar or make smart game moves. In BBCAN5 she showed how she had matured as a person. She was much more subtle and drew less attention to her. She positioned herself well in the Core Six behind more threatening veterans. For the entirety of the prejury phase she sat pretty without any threat of being targeted, and was playing one of the best game in the house to the point where some thought she may win. She showed fans that she learned from her past mistakes and that she could play the game well.
Insult corner - Neda and Sindy ate sitting on the couches by the front door of the house. Neda decides to play a ~~fun game~~ where she makes everyone who walks by them insult Sindy. Sindy is very upset after this happens and confides in others about Neda’s needlessly cruel behavior. This moment is so upsetting and hard to watch because you can see how hurt Sindy is for no other reason than because Neda wanted to be mean. This moment is one of the most formative in Neda’s story arc as it was the moment that truly showed that she had become a villain.
Something I've always wondered...has anyone's veto ball/chip been pulled after already being picked as someone's player's choice. Do they just edit that part out? There's no way that has never happened before in the last 20 years right?
