ABOUT THE GAME
The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is created by a small team with a lot of heart, and lets you help your grandfather solve the mystery of the stolen pets by exploring wonderful miniature worlds crafted from the ground up for VR. You can do things like use a hairdryer to melt snow in a wintery landscape, or search the wreck of a pirate ship partially hidden under the surface. Every world we have created is unique, full of interactions and colorful life. There is also an emotional story about childhood and memories, that might reveal some things about you that you forgot decades ago.
Our game won the 'Best Immersive Game' award at Raindance Film Festival earlier this year, and includes the music from Wintergatan (creators of Marble Machine).
The Launch Trailer can be watched here.
There's more and more people here in France saying there's a problem with the graphics in Golem on PS4 Pro. A lot of them say the game is very aliased although others say the game has no aliasing at all (or very few). Some guys seem to have the problem only sometimes and they have to reboot the game to fix it.
What about other countries? Did you see anything strange in graphics / aliasing / blurriness on PS4 Pro that should not be like that?
NO SPOILERS AHEAD - I’ve just played the final DLC for I Expect You To Die and at this point I can’t recommend this game enough.
This final mission is a real challenge at first and gives you little to go off but once you’ve figured it out, there’s not too many components to it. Still very enjoyable and fantastic for first time players. I think I died 4 times.
If you have been holding off on this game I’d suggest you pick this up ASAP! Definitely worth the entry price now it’s a fully finished game. Bring on IEYTD2!
So I know that the images look more clear and details are slightly better but is the rendering distance any better?
Like Im playing No Mans Sky on the OG Potato 4 and I just cant stand running around and environments and dangerous plants spawning 5 feet in front of me. Is this fixed with the pro or does it fix other issues?
So, yesterday, Valve announced Half Life VR which I posted in one of the groups I am a part of. And somehow (one member has a habit to argue), it turned into an argument about whether VR gaming is worth it. Now, in my opinion, it is. I don't have a PC VR headset but I do have a PS VR so my opinions about the cost are based on that. Considering that, now we can get PS VR for like 200 USD (this Black Friday, I believe the mega pack will be available across all retailers for that much with 5 games which will include RE 7 and Astro Bot). There is such a variety of games available and VR is getting more widespread and Sony is not going back or abandoning it like they did with Vita and it has slowly but steadily reached over 4 millions sales. However, while arguing, it seemed like VR gaming is still hard for people to grasp if they haven't tried it. 2 of the people kept saying they would rather go from ps4 to ps4 pro or get a Nintendo switch or upgrade PC rather than invest in a technology that is half baked. SO, my question is : for those not with a lot of disposable income, is PS VR worth buying over spending that limited gaming money on other games and consoles and stuff IN ITS CURRENT STATE? Also, how do you explain to people how good VR gaming is if they haven't experienced it first hand ?
Do you think the psvr Games lineup is lacking currently compared to previous times?
Psvr was known for its great content library and constant stream of new good games the past years. Games like resident evil (VrGOTY 2017), Astro bot (VrGOTY 2018), Farpoint, firewall ...
But the last big made for Vr game was Blood&truth. Other then that we got 2 ports (NMS, LA noire) and that’s pretty much it in terms of good games.
The only game to really look forward to is iron man. There isn’t even a holiday Vr game
Comparing this with the pcvr lineup, it really seems that has surpassed us now. They just got games like stormland, Vader immortal and Asgard’s wrath (2 of them bigger then anything psvr has made for Vr), and Boneworks, Medal of Honor, half life Alyx, Lone echo 2 are also in the Pipeline.
Some of those seem to be real AAA games even for flat games. Little sad Sony didn’t had any of their big AAA devs like naughty dog, guerillia or Santa Monica Studio making a similar big Vr game for psvr
