As I'm sure you know, we recently hit a milestone with 100,000 registered users on the subreddit, now approaching 120,000.
The subreddit has been around for 7 years now, all the way back to the closed beta when the game was very very different. However, we've had spitfire face for the 5 years looking at the sub, despite all the changes in the game itself.
Therefore, I'm reviving the corpse of the banner contest that's long overdue, on this very thread.
We'd like to thank everyone for contributing to the Subreddit over the years, and hopefully for many more to come.
You may submit ONLY ONE banner per user.
This banner must be at least 1920 pixels wide, and 250 pixels tall.
If it is taller than 250 pixels, keep in mind that it will be partly hidden under the subreddit layout, so keep all the interesting stuff in the top 250 pixels! In the voting thread, a preview of what your banner submission would look like in the subreddit will be included.
One of the game modes available for aircraft in War Thunder is Enduring Confrontation (EC). Unlike the standard battles, EC rounds last up to three hours and are meant to emulate a larger conflict. AI ground vehicles fight each other, influencing the front-lines depending on their victories and defeats. Players can change the course of the battle by attacking these ground vehicles or the enemy airfields. It is not necessary to remain in the game for the entirety of the round, as players are free to leave and join at any time.
There have been periodic small changes to the mode since the introduction of EC several years ago. What are your thoughts on the current state and implementation. Do you enjoy this mode, and if so what are your favourite aircraft and tactics to employ? Are there any changes you would like to see made to EC? Feel free to talk about all things EC in this discussion thread.
Here is the list of previous discussions.
Before we start!
Please use the applicable [Arcade], [RB], and [SB] tags to preface your opinions on a certain gameplay element! Aircraft and ground vehicle performance differs greatly across the three modes, so an opinion for one mode may be completely invalid for another!
Do not downvote based on disagreement! Downvotes are reserved for comments you'd rather not see at all because they have no place here.
Feel free to speak your mind! Call it a hunk of junk, an OP 'noobtube', whatever! Just make sure you back up your opinion with reasoning.
