I'm shifting away from fast fashion and am interested in buying more made in Canada clothing and shoes. What are good stores and online shops, for high quality Canadian goods?

I'm thinking about going to the one either on College or King. I have a pretty intense phobia of needles plus social situations that I'm trying to overcome. Anyone care to share with me what their experience was like?

EDIT: Thanks everyone for answering. I feel better already and determined to do this. Will even make regular donations from here on out if I can manage.

having a lot of trouble finding a job here for some reason I've applied to so many online jobs from scarborough to downtown from retail to fast food to warehouse work. i dont know if job agencies would help because a few months ago i went to some and they were pretty useless but im going to some more this week.

Hey TO,

I'm looking at buying a pair of blundstones. Anybody knows if they ever go on sale, or where to score a cheaper pair? They are the the same price {$230) all over the city, and they never seem to go on sale.

Thanks.

Kind of a weird one but I need maraschino cherries for a pineapple upside-down cake. I was in two grocery stores and neither was selling maraschino cherries. Any grocery stores that sell them near downtown?

Hi there, I’m a 26 year old male who moved to the city a few months ago. I’ve had a bit of difficulty making new friends since I’ve been here and am trying to expand outside of my current social circle. I was wondering if anybody else was experiencing anything similar ?

Here are a couple of things I enjoy doing

  • Music: Going to indie concerts, going to different record shops in the city, listening to/ discussing all kinds of music

  • Craft beer: I love going to different breweries for a flight or trying new beers from the LCBO

-Running: I try to complete 2-3 runs a week that vary between 5-20 km

  • Hockey: watching the leafs, playing shinny/pick up

  • movies: watching/discussing different movies (big coen brothers fan)

  • I also really like playing catan, cooking, trying new restaurants

Anyways let me know if you want to grab a pint or something like that! I live in west queen west

Hello. Im an international student in Canada and my insurance has just expired. I recently got mugged and my fronth tooth got broken when i was trying to escape. I have literally no money and cant find a job with the way I look. Does anybody know if there is any dental service who might help on a plan or something? I feel really low and see no way out of my predicament.
