If I was running really low on battery, would I be able to technically charge a decent amount of juice by braking down a hill, then walking back up and doing it over and over again?
I’m not very versed on the capabilities of regenerative braking and I just thought about it while I was riding home on 5% praying that I wouldn’t get laid out on the street
I noticed today that a couple times while riding today and went to brake my board didn't brake as responsively as normal. It kicked in after a couple seconds but immediately gives me a mini heart attack.
Does this happen to anyone else?
For context my hand was in my coat pocket with the remote and it was like 35 degrees out. It's a small possibility that my finger came off the dead man's trigger since my hands were so cold.
During first one hour of ownership turned it up to mode 4 because Im basically a badass.... and start riding from my place of work to the warehouse where I really work. While on the way there I was doing great just getting the feeling and loving every second. Once I arrived I saw my boss was not there so I opted to take it for a little extra spin... bad idea I start riding into the surrounding area (where I have never been b4) I see train tracks. I think no problem ill just speed up I hit these train tracks and of course fall at 22 with no helmet stupid me. tore up my hand so bad.. and just other horrible cuts luckily did not hit my head. but have not fallen since or went over train tracks. Luckily I have the coolest boss ever call him tell him im going home he laughs and said he would have done the exact same thing. lol
BTW: stupid 17 year old adrenaline junkie male. also live in New Mexico the roads here SUCK!
