I'm starting a movement where anyone willing can join me in watching an episode every Thursday night and then discussing it here and on Twitter over the course of the next week.
We can even use the hashtag #andamovie and #CommunityGroupRewatch on Twitter to draw attention to the fact that the fans are still here, watching the show and maybe get Universal to greenlight that movie.
So break out your DVDs or pull up Hulu because tonight we'll start with Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot. I'm going to start the show and the thread at 7PM CDT.
I liked it. It ends well. In my seventh season they talk in group chat and see each other on holidays like a real family. Including Shirley of course, and sometimes Elroy.
Britta joins as school therapist and the rest stay there. Jeff stops hanging with students because the "faculty" is where is close friends are (in town) and helps students that are "lost" like he and his friends were. Including the "regulars" like Todd and Garret.
He lived again with his friends and now teaches the "Winger Wisdom" to others. (they still fight city college on ocasion, including an all out college vs college paint ball fight ....yearly?).
Troy did come back and moved to California. He and Abed go on Dreamatorium adventures together. Altough Abed moved to England for a couple years to be a Producer at the new "Inspector Spacetime" reboot. And Troy spent a bunch of time on set and in cameos of aliens. The rest of the guys went there for an European vacation and ended up as aliens aswell.....the Dean was the main Alien leader in that episode and loved the costume.
They are still close and Shirley made them christmas sweaters (of course) including one for pierce that they hang and drink to him.
( #whowasthecrackassbandit? #whowastheysilverghost?)
yes she was only for one season and the last season on top of that but she is one of us goddammit and to be honest id rather have some one like her who loved the show over some one like Chevy chase who hated his involvement cause he had his head so far in his ass he couldn't see community was the best thing that happened to him since his 80's career (btw pierce is my absolute favorite character on the show)
i dont know..i hope thats not the case and i am being overly sentimental
Was that Jeff who texted Abed? This is my millionth rewatch and I may have just realized this. It makes sense because he would want to tell Abed to leave him and Britta alone, but I never put it together. Is this common knowledge or are there others out there that are like me and just noticed something new 10 years later? Please be kind if I was just oblivious.
