Just upgraded to the 11 pro max and wanted to say wow. The battery is great. Even coming from the 10. I unplugged at 4am this morning and with normal use, I’m only at 50% at 8:45pm. Insane for sure!

iPhone XR with the newest iOS.

Has anyone else noticed repeated issues with the safari browser, having recently updated? I had no issues prior to the last major update (the iOS that introduced dark mode and more haptic touch features).

For example, when browsing reddit on safari (I know, not a huge fan of the apps) the screen will often get stuck in a particular state of zoom, and I am unable to move or pinch in/out to change what I am looking at. I often end up with an overly zoomed, tiny patch of webpage on my screen. The only fix is to close the tab.

Often, when clicking links, I will be taken to just a blank screen. Refreshing does nothing. If I press back to go to the previous page, it will also load a blank white screen. The only way around this is to close the tab and open where I was at from history.

Another frequent issue is when trying to zoom, the browser will just snap back to the original size; this is despite multiple attempts of pinching/tapping. Again, the only fix is to close the tab and reopen.

This happens to sites other than reddit. It isn’t just an every-now-and-then thing, this is happening every single day, probably around 5-10 times when using safari.

Has anyone else noticed these problems? My friends/colleagues don’t really seem to have these issues, but probably don’t browse as much as myself. It’s incredibly frustrating.

I guess I’ll have to start using chrome or something.
