Last Friday I sold a Coach purse. It was listed at 59, woman offered me 43, I countered with 53 and she accepted. I did the usual, lint rolled it, triple checked the pockets, wrapped it in tissues, wrote a little thank you note, and sent it off. I received a two star rating today for “other”. I left a comment on the users page asking for her to specify what the issue is. I’d at least like to know what the problem is or if it’s something fixable. I know other users can’t see the rating but it just bothers me as I did everything I usually do.
To those of you who are travelling or hosting or will be away from your closet for a few days, do you put your closet on vacation mode? I have a great shipping track record of 1 day average and don't want to ruin that but I also do not want to slow down sales.
What do you all do?
I’ve been shipping my stuff in the free tyvek mailers or medium flat rate boxes for months. Today I’m told that they can’t do that because it’ll cost more??
They made me repackage my item in another box. It looked so unprofessional. I even pointed out the fine print on the label that says that I may use any flat rate box- but nope. She said that affects someone’s bottom line and the prices are stated on their display. Sooo yeah I squished my sale into a teeny tiny box I found in one of my closets because I didn’t have anything else.
I’m so irritated. I was also mailing something not on posh, a private sale over FB. The buyer has her own business and ships flat rate around the country for 6-8$ depending- told me to use the tyvek mailer. The post office then charged me $10.40 for that! I ended up getting it refunded and squished it into a tiny cardboard envelope that I had to tape the crap out of to keep it all contained. My buyer was baffled as she uses the non padded, non cardboard priority flat rate envelopes all the time with no issues, not paying more than $8 to mail them. Wtf am I supposed to do? Even the posh website says to use these supplies!
