As the new season gears up, we’ve added two new rules to the sub that I wanted to take a moment to tell you about, so that when we start enforcing them it doesn’t take anyone by surprise.
The first is a new rule about not allowing pregnancy post speculation. As the cast moves forward in life it’s bound to happen that someone at some point will get pregnant soon(we’re all looking at Brittany here) and we don’t want endless round the clock speculation if a pregnancy isn’t announced. It’s pointless and so often pregnancy speculation is based around the food being eaten, or a slight stomach bloat and it leads to a lot of circular conversations based on little fact. Let’s discuss pregnancies when they are official please, not before.
We really hope the sub supports us with this, and understand that we try really hard not to put things completely off limits for discussion in posts or comments.
Our next rule is prohibiting flaming, flamebaiting and flame wars in both posts and comments. What is that exactly?
Flaming is inflammatory, grossly offensive, or menacing rhetoric that give the appearance of having intent to provoke an angry response is prohibited. Flaming posts and comments will be removed. Users will be warned.
Flamebait rhetoric that is not overly inflammatory but seems to have the intent to provoke an angry response is also prohibited.
Flamewars long exchanges of angry/abusive messages between the users derailing the conversation and original intent of OP is also prohibited.
Users may be temporarily banned or permanently banned if it is a reoccurring problem.
If you have a problem with a user and it seems like they are flaming either in comments or with a post, please report the comment and/or notify us via modmail . Do not continue to engage and derail the OP’s post trying to get the last word in.
